Safari products vary in length from a few hours to a few days. For instance, the snowmobiling track from Rovaniemi to Ranua offers an excellent opportunity for longer safari.
Wildlife Safaris offers snowmobiling, reindeer and husky safaris either as weekly planned trips or specifically tailored trips during the winter months.
Wildlife Safaris operates in the area located between Ranua, Rovaniemi, and Iso-Syöte ski resort. Versatile in fauna and topography, rich in watercourses and wilderness, these forested areas are an exciting option to the treeless areas of northern Lapland.

The Safari starts straight after breakfast from the hotel lobby. The guide will give instructions on clothing for the day’s weather. When everyone is properly dressed, the snowmobiling training commences, after which the adventure of about 100 km can start! The route will take the travellers through all kinds of terrain and magnificent landscapes of Lapland.
A delicious packed lunch will be enjoyed during the break. Car transfer to the location of departure for an additional fee. The safari ends at the Ranua Wildlife Park.

The safari heads for the local reindeer farm. The price includes basic information on reindeer herding, coffee and cakes and a reindeer sled ride! Journey to the farm and back by snowmobile.

As the mysterious blue of the polar night in Lapland falls, the warmly dressed visitors head from the Safari House to the Wildlife Park. Headlights are used to spot the glowing eyes of wildlife in the darkness and to see the animals active in the night more clearly. The tour in the Park is guided and it includes feeding the animals. Glittering snow and the moon and northern lights in a cloudless night are a part of an experience to remember.
